Patient Resources

What to Expect During Your First Visit

Your initial appointment will include a comprehensive examination, updated digital x-rays (if needed), and a thorough discussion of your treatment options. Our goal is to make sure you feel informed, comfortable, and confident about your dental care.

Please Help Us Prepare for Your Visit by Bringing the Following:

  • A list of your current medications.
  • Your medical and/or dental insurance cards (if applicable).
  • Completed New Patient paperwork — or plan to arrive 15 minutes early to complete it in our office.
  • A signed Records Release form prior to your first appointment if x-rays are being sent digitally from a previous office.

When scheduling your appointment, we will ask for your insurance information, including:

  • Name of the insurance subscriber
  • Insurance company
  • Employer
  • Identification number (insurance ID or Social Security number, if required)

As a courtesy to our patients, we will make every effort to verify your insurance eligibility and benefits before your visit.

Important Information

A parent or legal guardian must accompany all patients under the age of 18 at the consultation visit.

  • Please notify our office before your appointment if you have any medical conditions that may affect treatment (such as diabetes, high blood pressure, artificial heart valves or joints, rheumatic fever, etc.).
  • Let us know if you are taking any medications, including heart medications, aspirin, or blood thinners.

If you have any questions before your appointment, our team is always happy to help. We look forward to welcoming you to our office!

Payment Options

For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and all major credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, American Express, and Discover. To provide the highest quality care at the most reasonable cost, payment is due at the time services are rendered.

For patients requiring more extensive treatment, we are happy to discuss financial arrangements to help make your care manageable and stress-free. Please feel free to speak with our team about available options.

Insurance

We are happy to work with virtually all dental insurance plans. Our knowledgeable team will gladly review your benefits with you and help you understand how your coverage works at our office. Please bring your insurance information to your appointment so we can help expedite reimbursement.

As a courtesy, our accounting staff will prepare and submit the necessary forms for your dental benefits. If you have questions about your specific plan, we encourage you to call our office — we’re here to help.

Monthly Payments Through CareCredit

As an added service to our patients, we offer financing through CareCredit, a leading healthcare payment program. CareCredit allows you to finance up to 100% of your treatment with no upfront costs, no annual fees, and no prepayment penalties. Many plans offer convenient low monthly payments, with select options featuring no interest for up to 24 months.
