Our Technology

We are committed to providing our patients with advanced dental technology that enhances comfort, precision, and efficiency. Here’s a look at some of the innovative tools we use in our office:

CEREC® Same Day Crowns

Using the CEREC Primescan, we capture highly accurate digital images of your teeth—eliminating the need for messy impressions. These images are converted into a precise 3D digital model, allowing your crown to be carefully designed right here in our office.

Once the design is finalized, it is sent to our in-office milling machine where your custom crown is created. After milling and crystallization, the crown is ready to be permanently cemented the very same day.

Benefits include:

  • No temporary crown
  • No second appointment
  • Precise digital fit
  • Beautiful, natural-looking results

Pearl - Second Opinion

Pearl Second Opinion is an AI-powered software that analyzes dental X-rays in real-time to detect cavities, bone loss, and other issues with 94% accuracy. It acts as a “second set of eyes” for your dentist, highlighting potential problems in color on-screen, which helps ensure accurate diagnoses and allows you to clearly understand your dental conditions.

Key Benefits of Pearl Second Opinion:

  • Higher Accuracy & Early Detection: The AI identifies hard-to-see, early-stage decay and pathologies that the human eye might miss, enabling preventative care before issues become complex and costly.
  • Clearer Understanding (Visual Aids): Instead of just looking at black-and-white X-rays, you will see color-coded highlights showing exactly where the dentist sees potential issues, such as cavities (pink), calculus (green), or bone loss (lines).
  • Increased Confidence: It provides peace of mind, knowing your dentist’s diagnosis is verified by advanced, objective technology, leading to greater trust in your treatment plan.

Cone Beam CT (3D Imaging)

We are proud to offer advanced 3D imaging with Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) technology. Our in-office Planmeca Unit allows us to capture highly detailed, three-dimensional images of your teeth, jawbone, nerves, sinuses, and surrounding structures—all in a single, comfortable scan.

Unlike traditional two-dimensional x-rays, CBCT imaging provides a complete 3D view. This allows for more precise diagnosis, safer treatment planning, and better overall outcomes.

Why 3D Imaging Matters

Greater Accuracy
See exact bone levels, root positioning, and nerve location.

Improved Safety
Plan procedures with precision while minimizing risks.

Better Implant Planning
Determine ideal implant size and placement before treatment begins.

Enhanced Diagnosis
Identify infections, fractures, impacted teeth, cysts, airway concerns, and other conditions that may not be visible on standard x-rays.

Efficient & Comfortable
The scan takes less than a minute and is completely non-invasive.

When Is CBCT Used?

Cone beam CT technology is especially valuable for:

  • Dental implant planning
  • Surgical extractions and impacted teeth
  • Root canal evaluation
  • TMJ assessment
  • Orthodontic treatment planning
  • Evaluation of pathology or bone loss

By investing in advanced 3D imaging technology, we are able to provide safer, more predictable, and more comprehensive care—all under one roof.

If you have questions about how cone beam CT imaging may benefit your treatment, our team is happy to explain how this technology enhances your care and results.

Digital X-Rays

Digital x-rays significantly reduce radiation exposure compared to traditional film x-rays while still producing exceptionally clear images.

Advantages include:

  • Lower radiation levels
  • Faster image capture
  • Instant viewing on-screen
  • Enhanced diagnostic accuracy

This technology allows us to diagnose concerns quickly and efficiently while prioritizing your safety.

Diode Laser

Soft tissue diode lasers are a valuable tool in both hygiene and restorative procedures. They are highly effective in reducing bacterial plaque during periodontal treatments and can also be used to perform minor soft tissue adjustments, including frenectomies.

Benefits include:

  • Minimally invasive treatment
  • Reduced bleeding and swelling
  • Faster healing
  • Greater patient comfort

Many laser procedures are virtually painless and require little to no recovery time.
