Veneers

Veneers are a beautiful way to completely transform your smile. Made from ultra-thin, durable porcelain, veneers are custom crafted by a professional dental laboratory to match your ideal shape, size, and shade. They are carefully bonded to the front surface of your teeth to create a natural, radiant appearance.

In many cases, veneers are a more conservative alternative to crowns when only minimal tooth structure has been chipped, worn, or discolored.

Why Choose Porcelain Veneers?

Veneers can address a variety of cosmetic concerns, including:

  • Creating a brighter, more uniform smile
  • Crooked or slightly misaligned teeth
  • Misshapen teeth
  • Discolored or deeply stained teeth
  • Teeth that appear too small or too large
  • Uneven or unwanted spaces between teeth
  • Worn or chipped edges

Veneers are designed to look incredibly natural while enhancing the overall harmony of your smile.

What to Expect During the Veneer Process

Veneers are typically completed over three visits.

First Visit – Planning & Impressions

Impressions of your teeth are taken and sent to our dental laboratory, where detailed wax models are created. These models help design the ideal shape and proportions of your future smile.

Second Visit – Preparation & Temporaries

You’ll review your custom models so you can see and approve the exact shape and size of your veneers. Once finalized, your teeth are gently prepared to allow room for the veneers. A final impression is taken, and together we select the perfect shade. Temporary veneers are placed for you to wear while your permanent restorations are being crafted.

Third Visit – Final Placement

Your custom porcelain veneers are carefully bonded to your prepared teeth. Once placed, they are virtually undetectable and highly resistant to stains from coffee, tea, and other common culprits.

Caring for Your Veneers

Porcelain veneers are strong and long-lasting. To protect them:

  • Maintain excellent brushing and flossing habits
  • Avoid using your teeth as tools (opening packages, biting hard objects)
  • Keep up with regular dental visits

If a veneer is ever damaged, it is often possible to replace just the affected veneer rather than the entire set.

Veneers are a wonderful option for patients looking to achieve a confident, natural-looking smile. If you’re considering enhancing your smile, we would love to discuss whether veneers are right for you.
